Hannaford recall Fresh Ground Beef suspected of possible Salmonella contaminated. Fourteen illnesses were reported to the CDC but the CDC claims that for every reported case another 30 or more go untreated and unreported. Does that mean that Hnnaford ground beef actually caused in excess of 420 illnesses?
